My latest fashion challenge:
This weekend, I will be at a big MTV style pool party in the San Francisco area. But wait....what shoes do I wear? And jewelry? And..handbag? Do you bring a handbag or a beach bag? How is it that I know exactly how to dress to go out to a club, to a cocktail party, to a wedding, etc., but I am clueless about how to dress for a "pool party?" Apparently, pool parties have changed since the days when you showed up at your b/f/f's backyard pool with a towel and a noodle...

I find unspeakable joy in old school Britney, big plastic rhinestones, the theme music for "The Office," making fun of elitist classical musicians (but I can do that because I used to be one of them), and the fact that I was born in the same year as 2 of my favorite companies: bebe Stores and Apple Inc. I worry a lot, am a little vain and selfish, and I refuse to eat chocolate that's not really, really dark. My fake blonde fake-tanned appearance belies a heart full of genuine intentions. Because I only talk shit about people if they are friends or family and are currently standing right in front of me.
